Farscape's favorite Hynerian, Rygel XVI, here looking very snobbish.  He usually does.  Rygel was one of the more complicated figures - a doll, actually - beginning as none other than a 6" Spider-man action figure from Toys R Us.  She needed a highly articulated figure with fairly thin arms, too, and Spidey fit that.

The head was sculpted from scratch.  Spidey's legs were cut off at the knee, and MagicSculp was used to build up Rygel's inhuman proportions for the legs and feet, hands, and body.  At every step, great care was taken to make sure that Rgyel remained as articulated as possible.

The clothes were made of a magenta T-shirt, painted felt, gold ribbon, and fancy Victorian buttons.  Rygel's "thronesled," connected via a rod of clear resin, was sculpted from scratch and cast in resin.
